Answers to Popular Questions
Can I have a fish mounted without a case.

Under construction.
How should I treet my dead fish.

Proper field care is important, Never gut a fish. A fish that is wildly flopping around can damage scales, fins, ect. remember the damage to the fish, the harder the job of mounting it. Preparation for freezeing needs to be made as soon as possible. Choose the best side (show side) this will be frozen upper most. Smooth the fins down against the body and place the fish in a good plastic bag. If immediate setting up is not planned then after smoothing down the fins wrap the fish in layers of wet newspaper, of about 2 ins. thick, tape and place in a plasic bag, and tape up once again. Lay the specimen flat in the freezer show side upper most. A fish treated such as this can be stored a long time and produce a higher quality mount.
Should I have a skin mount or cast.

Well I always believe you cant beet the real thing which is a skin mount. A reproduction is fine and realistic but at the end of the day it's only a replica.
